A Spirit-Filled Campus
College can be a time of great personal spiritual development. At Lee, everything we do is centered around our faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. In the classroom, during chapel, in campus life, or while serving others, we are fully engaged in conversations about why our faith matters in the context of learning.
Lee’s emphasis on professor involvement was so important to me. My professors invested in my journey more than I ever thought possible. They counseled me through grad school choices and applications, gave feedback on my work, and are people I happily call my friends. Now that I’m moving on to grad school, I look back at Lee as home.
Lee has a great community feel, where people come around you and help you on your walk of life. Lee strives for excellence, which is challenging and inspiring to me. The Lord does not call us to perfection, but to excellence. Lee is focused on this and teaches students this as well. It’s evident in the quality of the Lee experience.
Originally, I didn’t want to go to Lee, but God wanted me there, so I reluctantly enrolled. In the first week, I fell in love with Lee University. The opportunities to connect, learn, and grow are everywhere. Now, I have a degree and no regrets. Lee’s campus is not only where I gained an education, it’s where I became a better person.
