Right along with working full-time, being married, and dealing with multiple difficult life circumstances, I was able to fit getting my degree within the spaces of my schedule. I chose Lee Online because I was able to do it when I was available to do it, and I didn’t have to drive and sit in a classroom in order to finish my degree.

You’re never too old to do Lee Online. You’re never too old to continue your education. I’m graduating. I am 58 years old and I started at 18 years old. Of course, that’s 40 years, but during that process, life happened. I was a youth director, minister of music… I ran daycares, and today I am a lead pastor and I have finished with a Bachelor degree, thank God. And I do thank those at Lee Online.

I would say that Lee helped me when it comes to discipline. I was not a disciplined person. Anything I did I waited until the last minute. Lee helped me to use time management and really think how to schedule my time and outside activities. A seven-week course was difficult, of course, but it really helped train me to use time management.

Expect Something Great

We have a phrase around Lee, Expect Something Great. We think the college experience should be much more than just academic excellence. At Lee, we expect our students to experience transformational relationships with faculty, with other students, in campus life, and as they move into their calling. Students tell that story best, and this video will give you a glimpse of some of their experiences.

We Are Lee University

Lee is a Christ-centered campus in Cleveland, Tennessee, which is in the lush Tennessee River Valley near Chattanooga. Over 5,000 students study in one of our 100+ bachelor's, master's, and doctoral-level degrees, but our focus for a century has been the traditional undergraduate student. Well over half of our undergrads live on our gorgeous 122-acre campus, perennially among the safest campuses in Tennessee, according to TBI statistics. Our faculty boast advanced degrees from some of the nation's most prestigious and exceptional research universities and seminaries. Lee not only rates highly among similar institutions across the nation, but we've also been cited as a leader among institutions of all sizes for our affordability and our exceptional programs in service-learning, study abroad, and most recently in student engagement (Wall Street Journal).
